Vision: KMG Ethiopia envisions a society where women are free from all forms of discrimination and violence and are able to attain, equity and equality for themselves and societies at large. We believe that a new perception of women as leaders and creators of value cultivates the talent and intelligence of the whole population, for the benefit of all.

Mission: To enable women and marginalized communities in Ethiopia to create environment where their rights are observed; realize their socio-economic well being and advancement through integrated and sustainable development interventions that link Economy, Society and Ecology.

Our assumption: is that no parents intentionally or maliciously hurt their children or family members. Rather, their actions are rooted in misconceptions and beliefs that it are mandated by their religion or culture.

Our belief: is those communities, though they may be non-literate, have their own wisdom, knowledge and capacities which can be enhanced and utilized to address their immediate and strategic concerns.

Our approach: is to discuss and not dictate; build consensus among community members to make informed decisions on issues of their concerns. Actively listening and respecting, uncovering each community’s capacity to do for itself is the key to strategic social change and sustainable development.
